- love yellow flowers.
- hope to own a yellow car named daisy or melody.
- have a weird love for beards.
- dance a lot when no ones looking (sometimes even when people are looking)
- love dogs :)

- have given up on being a vegetarian (Ed, are you happy? :])
- want to study psychology, music and education all at once :'D
- want to be a mother to the broken and abandoned.
- have a dream of becoming a pro surfer even though I can't surf to save my life.
- would try anything that would put my life at risk..
- am NOT suicidal.
- enjoy singing at the top of my voice (it scares the neighbours :'D)
- love long walks and runs.
- struggle to cook chicken without feeling sick to my stomach. It just looks wounded.
- adore summer and all that comes with it (sun, sandals, dresses)
- love walking around barefoot :)
- dig people who walk around barefoot. It shows character.
- wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair.
- have a heart for the nations.
- cannot live without the glorious thing that is coffee :)
- think acoustic guitars are just beautiful.
- am a psychology and english major.
- love, love, love the beach.
- probably laugh too much.
- thank God for creating the person who invented beds.
- love any form of art.
- think tattoos are awesome!
- have the most amazing cellgroup in the world!
- love dreadlocks... On guys... White guys.
- love having long chats with awesome people.
- love praying for people.
- love playing pranks on Tim :)
- make the best popcorn in the world!
- pray for my husband and his protection.
- cannot wait for my parents to get saved!
- cannot wait to travel this earth making known the message of Christ.
- pray that my life is a song of worship to Him.
- desire more than anything to know the heart of my Daddy more and more.
- am recklessly in love with Jesus Christ!

About a month ago I decided I wanted a part time job. So I set out to find one. I thought the best place to start would be on my knees, asking God for one. I did exactly that.
The next step was to decide what I’d enjoy doing in my spare time. I came up with the answer that anything that involved God, people and books would be just perfect.
I emailed a few places and I was called into one place to bring my CV. The manager asked me to come in again the next week for an interview, but said that I should call to confirm with her before I came. So the day came and I called her but unfortunately she had bad news. After reviewing the company’s finances she decided that they could not afford to hire someone new. Total bummer!
A couple of days before this I had been reminded of a scripture in the gospel of Mark that says ‘whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it shall be yours’. Yes! I thought ‘you know what? This job is mine’. So I stopped asking God for a job and started thanking Him for my job. And you know what???….
Exactly a week later, Charlotte (the manager) called me and asked me to come see her. I went in the next day and she offered me a job!!! Whoop whoop! The best thing is I’m going to be working at CUM books, which is exactly what I wanted - God, people and books. God is so good!
It’s amazing what a little bit of faith can activate.

About 3 days ago I was walking home in the blazing hot sun. As I was walking along I was sort of chatting to God and in a joking manner prayed this exact prayer: “Dad could you please send forth my dad to save me from this heat” then I laughed and said “Thank you”. Less than 5 minutes later I heard a honk and my dad pulled up next to me.
You cannot ever tell me that God doesn’t answer prayers - even the silly ones!
What a God! :)
